Meet The Team

Founder

Les is the original founder of the business. The business opportunity presented itself back in 1984, when he was owed payment by his employer. In lieu of wages Les finally accepted an old truck & some scaffold materials, and proceeded to trade as Liddiard Scaffolding. Fully incorporated since 1998, the company has grown & flourished, and continues to trade successfully.

Managing Director

Rob has been the Managing Director of Liddiard Scaffolding since 2005, he began working for the company at the age of sixteen and progressed his way through the company.
He has a wealth experience from working in the construction industry over the last 20 years and has continued to develop these skills since his move in to the office.
Rob now holds NEBOSH 'Health and Safety in Construction & Management of Health and Safety' certificates. He holds a teaching certification to be able to assist the construction industry in COTS courses.

Director of Finance & Company Secretary

Kelly joined the Liddiard Scaffolding office back in 2000 as an Office Junior after leaving school. Through gaining a large volume of qualifications and skills in Business, Administration and Accounts she is now the company’s Director of Finance and Company Secretary. Along with her impressive list of qualifications Kelly also holds a certificate in professional competence in road haulage.

"I’m a Mum of 2 which keeps me busy, and have a keen love for animals, dogs in particular! I really enjoy gardening, growing fruit & vegetables and I spend a lot of time outside. I also love to cook using the produce that has been grown at home. I love people and enjoy social events with friends and family. I am 'one of the lads' at heart, and I enjoy getting out on site as time allows, driving the HGV’s, and generally getting stuck in with all things DIY and getting my hands dirty!"

Contracts Manager & Estimator

Stuart began working for Liddiard Scaffolding in 1997 as a scaffolder, he made the move from ‘the tools’ to office in 2012. He is now a Contract’s Manager based in our Petersfield depot and after completing his SMSTS course he assists Rob with all Health and Safety matters.

"My hobbies and interests include rugby, surfing, mountain biking, socialising and drinking beer. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, read all the books and watched all the movies. My favourite movie of all time is Point Break."

Contracts Manager

Dave joined the Liddiard Scaffolding team in 2014. With over 30 years experience in the industry, Dave has a wealth of knowledge with site contracts and management. He has helped progress the operational side of the company, introducing lots of new systems.

"My main interest is my Vespa. I go on ride outs. I also go to the scooter Rally's, and the live music that goes with it. I do a lot of DIY. I try to go abroad 3 times a year to a sunny country".

Senior Estimator

Steve is our newest member of the team joining us at the beginning of 2022. He has been working within the scaffolding industry for over 40 years, 34 years being in Estimating & Management.

"Myself and wife Sarah own a classic Hymer Motorhome so love to get away even if just for one night.
I have been playing Saxophone for a few years, solo gigs and open mics etc and now play in a local Blues Band, recently recording our fist track in a world class studio in London.
We enjoy Roller skating on retro quad skates, members of a local skating group including street skating and roller discos.
A member on Bootcamp UK which is a large fitness organisation developed to help armed forces. Most BCUK instructors are Ex military, served in Afghanistan and Iraq, and a few instructors are currently supported by Combat Stress. This is an amazing bunch of people who always look out for each other , no more especially than on the Nuts Challenge last weekend, a heavy duty assault course".

Operations Manager

Brett began his career with Liddiard Scaffolding in 2002. He has worked his way up over the years and obtained his advanced scaffolder ticket in 2015. In 2019 Brett transitioned into the office as a supervisor and is now our Operations Manager.

Assistant Transport Manager

Charlotte completed her Transport Managers CPC qualification in 2016 and is responsible for managing the fleet.

Ben has been working with the company since 2006. In his time here, he has progressed through all of the scaffolder training courses. Ben Oversees all works on 3 sites located on the South Coast . His job role is crucial and is a first point of contact for the customers & staff alike.

"I'm a big sports fan and when I'm not working I enjoy getting away on holiday as many times a year as possible".
