Sports Teams
Liddiard Scaffolding Ltd support local communities in Petersfield, Liss and the surrounding villages. For many years we have supported numerous sports team, including Petersfield Rugby Club and Haslemere, Petersfield & Harting Football Club. We have been donating money to Petersfield Golf Club for some time, as our Founder Les can often be found, playing a round on the course.
Charity
Over the years, employees of Liddiard Scaffolding have been involved with many charities, completing half marathons, abseiling the Spinnaker Tower and 100 mile bike rides, raising money for charities such as; The Stroke Association, FitzRoy and Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
In April 2019, 10 of Liddiard Scaffolding’s employees took part in Rough Runner South raising £500 for Perthes Association.
Perthes Association aims to aid research to find a universal treatment for children with Perthes disease and hopefully a cure. Currently they help and advise families of children suffering from Perthes disease and Associated conditions in all parts of the British Isles and overseas.
Schools
In 2015 Liddiard Scaffolding Ltd purchased land in Liss, Hampshire which has over 7,000 Christmas trees planted. We have donated many of these trees to schools and local businesses in Petersfield, Liss and nearby villages over the past 10 years.
LIGHTHOUSE CLUB
In 2019 we signed up to the charity’s ‘Lighthouse Day’ campaign where all you need to do is pledge one days fundraising to help our fellow construction workers in need.
Lighthouse Club is the only charity that financially supports construction workers who are unable to work because they are suffering from an injury, long term illness or just need a helping hand.
We want to make sure that everyone works in a healthy and safe environment and gets home safely every day. There are some shocking statistics in construction and we want to make a difference.
